Booking and Cancellation Policy

Welcome! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Amy mobile application (“App”) and its associated website (collectively, the “Service”). 

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.  If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access or use the Service.

1. Services

We offer free and paid services for our users. Our free services include:

  • Access to the library of self-coaching exercises for career development;
  • Opportunity to enroll to all provided exercises;
  • Free coaching sessions, if such is available by a selected career coach;
  • Access to learning materials and knowledge base in our blog; 
  • Access to the pool of career coaches.

Our paid services include:

  • Request for a coaching session (50min) in the format of online meeting;
  • Request for a package of three coaching sessions (50min each) in the format of online meetings;

To access paid services, you will be presented with the pricing and available payment methods before booking a session.  We may use a third-party payment processor to handle transactions. You agree to comply with their terms of service.

2. User Accounts

You need to create an account to access paid offers of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. You agree to be fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Cost of Using the Service and Refunds

To use the Service’s paid services, you need to pay the full cost. This cost is determined separately for each career coach and type of service and is always visible for you in our mobile app and on the website. You can decline the services by cancelling the session 24 hours in advance before the scheduled session date.

The received funds will be used for motivating coaches, improving the Service, our marketing activities, and paying the payment system commission for transactions between users and the Service.

Please note that you can receive a refund of the full cost of the services if the cancellation of the session was done only via our mobile app or via our website interface. If the cancellation of the session was done in any other way, we cannot guarantee the refund. To make the refund, please go to Profile > Sessions > Choose the session you want to cancel > Press the cancel button.

4. Disclaimer Regarding Coach Services

While the Service connects you with career coaches, we cannot control the content or outcome of coaching sessions. The coaches are independent contractors and are solely responsible for the services they provide. We recommend reviewing the coach’s profile and qualifications before booking a session. We will, however, make a reasonable effort to assist you in case of any conflicts or unclear situations arising during a coaching session.

5. User Data

The Service collects the following user data:

  • Name
  • Surname
  • Email Address
  • Preferred Topic for Career Coaching
  • Phone number
  • Booked sessions history
  • Information related to user’s activity while enrolling to exercises 

This data is stored on our secure and reliable server.  We use Google Analytics to understand user behavior and improve the Service. You can find more information about Google Analytics’ privacy practices here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7318509?hl=en.

We will not share your personal data with any third-party services beyond what is necessary for Google Analytics.

We use Cal.com to facilitate scheduling coaching sessions and other activities. Cal.com’s privacy policy can be found here: https://cal.com/privacy.

We will only share the minimum amount of data necessary for these services to function properly.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, including self-coaching exercises, are protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of this content without our express written permission.

7. Termination

We may terminate your access to the Service for any reason, at any time, without notice.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.  Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA) Rules.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. You are advised to periodically review these Terms for any changes.

Privacy Policy

In addition to the terms above, your privacy is important to us.  This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your information.

  • We collect the data mentioned above (name, surname, phone number, email, etc.) to provide you with the Service.
  • We use your data to improve the Service and personalize your experience.
  • We will not share your personal data with any third-party services beyond what is necessary for Google Analytics.
  • You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at m@getamy.app.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

We value your time and understand that things can come up. However, we created this policy to ensure you have enough time to prepare for your session and to allow us to manage your schedule effectively. Additionally, it provides coaches with adequate notice in case you need to reschedule or cancel the session.

Booking Policy:

  • Booking Confirmation: After booking a session with Amy, you will receive a confirmation email with the session details. Ensure to review the details and contact support via email at m@getamy.app if there are any issues.
  • Session Availability: Sessions are booked based on the availability of your chosen coach. Please check the available time slots and book accordingly.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation Window: You can cancel your session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any penalties through our mobile application or our website (getamy.app). To do this, please go to Profile > Sessions > Choose the session you want to cancel > Press the cancel button. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation.
  • Calendar Cancellations: If you cancel your session using your calendar interface, we cannot guarantee a refund. Please use our web interface or mobile application. In case of any issues, contact our support team via m@getamy.app.
  • No-Show Policy: If you do not attend the session without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds for cancelled sessions will be processed within 30 business days. Refunds will only be issued if the session is cancelled within the specified window.

Rescheduling Policy:

  • Rescheduling Window: You can reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any penalties.
  • Maximum Reschedules: A session can only be rescheduled three times. If you reach the rescheduling limit, you will not be able to reschedule this session again. In this case, you will have the opportunity to either attend the session within the last booked time slot or book a new one. If you are unable to attend the session at the last booked time slot, we will not be able to issue a refund.

By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Booking and Cancellation Policy
